The Quad City Federation of Labor AFL-CIO & Working Illinois & Iowa Neighbors (WIN), work together and conduct committee meetings to discuss and decide on an interview schedule with candidates running for any State and/or Local office in the following counties in Iowa: Scott, Muscatine, and Louisa – and the following counties in Illinois: Rock Island, Carroll, Henry, Jo Daviess, Mercer, and Whiteside. These committee members help determined if someone running for office is in the interests of organized labor. Candidates are sent a questionnaire to be filled out and returned prior to a deadline and then scheduled for an interview. Candidates who do not fill out a questionnaire cannot be considered for endorsement.
