Each year, the East Central Iowa/Northwestern IL AFL-CIO Hall of Fame Banquet & awards ceremony gives Labor Leaders an opportunity to recognize union brothers and sisters who have gone over and above in their work, civic and/or community services. Dinner is provided and any proceeds remaining from the event are used for civic engagement, educational opportunities, community outreach projects or programs, and member-to-member communication.
If your union has a retired labor member who you feel would be a good fit for being inducted into the Hall of Fame or you have a labor member, currently, who you feel would be a good candidate for the John White Community Service Award . . . you will be required to fill out a NOMINATION FORM each year and MAIL or EMAIL it back to:
